Daftar AktifQQ Sekarang - "Daftar AktifQQ Sekarang" Featuring Yousaf

The song "Daftar AktifQQQ Sekarang" is a track from the group Daftar. "Daftar AktifQQ Sekarang" features Yousaf and is his first single. The song was released on July 13, 2020. "Daftar AktifQQ Sekarang" peaked at number 2 on the iTunes Australian charts and number two on the Australian iTunes charts.
Daftar released this song because he wanted to show that he is not afraid to be different. He wants to break away from the usual format of rap and break away from typical rap sounds. The song has lyrics and melodies that seem different and out of the box but his way of talking keeps it familiar.
Yousaf is a regular in many music videos by The Neptunes, BeatKantix, and others and has been working with them for about four years. He said that Daftar was "beyond his expectations". His vocals on the song "Daftar AktifQQ Sekarang" were a dream come true.

Yousaf explained that he wanted to make an album, "People will listen to all the way through". He said that he just wrote a song and decided to record it. He wanted the songs to be free and not like most rappers who have songs that cost thousands of dollars to record.
"Daftar aktifqq Sekarang" contains some verses from The Neptunes, including "Dark Is Black". The beat is not very "dark" and is reminiscent of Kool & The Gang, however Yousaf still didn't want to sound like the other artists. He wanted to experiment and produce a unique sound.
The lead of the song is "Guero. Yousaf is one of the best singers in South America and he is also a great rapper. Yousaf told Pitchfork that this is one of his favorite verses in the song because "Guero is amazing".
Yousaf said that he was inspired by a video clip featuring Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez and a young boy asking, "How do you play?" "I was like, 'I don't know, how do you dance?' " The video clip was popularized as a music video and Yousaf's verse was added to it.
Yousaf said that the song is a step in the right direction but it isn't enough to actually break away from the rap trap. "We need to be better than that," he said. In the end, he hopes that he will be able to contribute to the music industry and create music that is unique and is not typical.
